Thèmes de Recherche.
Mon activité de recherche consiste à décrypter les rôles et les relations physiopathologiques du couple héparanase 1 et 2 et des métalloprotéases matricielles (MMPs) dans le cancer du sein, le psoriasis ou la maladie d’Alzheimer. J’étudie en particulier la contribution de ces enzymes dans les processus inflammatoires à l’aide d’approches de biochimie, de biologie cellulaire et moléculaire et de pharmacologie. L’objectif de mes travaux est de valider le ciblage de ces enzymes à l’aide d’oligosaccharides naturels comme nouvelles stratégies thérapeutiques originales.
