Thèmes de Recherche.
Les activités de recherche s’orientent selon deux axes développés sur les écosystèmes littoraux. Le premier s’attache à contribuer à la compréhension des réseaux trophiques structurés au sein d’écosystèmes littoraux (ex : les herbiers à phanérogames…) en se focalisant sur le rôle de la production secondaire en général et de la macrofaune benthique en particulier. Le second axe, en cours de développement, est à caractère plus appliqué puisqu’il vise à apprécier les politiques de Gestion Intégrée des Zones Côtières (G.I.Z.C.) développés localement dans le but d’une gestion durable de ressources vivantes littorales. Actuellement, et à titre d’exemple, un projet sur l’impact de la pêche à pied récréative sur l’Ile d’Oléron est soutenu par l’ANR : le programme GIPREOL
