Thèmes de Recherche.
Je suis chercheur post-doc et mes recherches portent sur l’évolution des systèmes physiologiques et des cycles de vie chez diverses espèces animales. Je m’intéresse particulièrement au système immunitaire, à la physiologie oxydative et aux phénotypes du vieillissement, comme le cancer. J’étudie la façon dont ces systèmes physiologiques sont connectés les uns aux autres ainsi que la façon dont les processus extrinsèques et intrinsèques façonnent leur variation entre les espèces, entre les sexes et entre les classes d’âge. Au cours de mon post-doc actuel, j’explorerai également comment le microbiome s’intègre dans les phénotypes physiologiques et de vieillissement de l’hôte. Je vais particulièrement explorer l’interaction entre le microbiome, l’immunité et la prédisposition au cancer à travers l’arbre de vie.
