Scientific objectives
– Understand current and past responses of coastal environments to natural and anthropogenic disturbances
– Bring together complementary skills aimed at better understanding the physical dynamics of coastal areas, at time scales ranging from the hour to the millennium, considering both the hydrodynamic and morphological functioning of coastal systems and the recent environmental changes that are modifying these systems: sea level variations, climate change, and increasing anthropogenic pressure
